I presumed that this was pre-digital and searched the Jaspert ’Encyclopaedia of Type Faces’. I couldn’t find a match. That pretty much uses up my resources for non-American metal type.
What is the age of the book?

The book was printed in 1945.
Mike, thanks for putting up the various font guides. I’ve spent many an hour browsing through them.
