LATTE 2 GO LOGO

Hey guys,
Need help with this one. I think im on to something here. The client is a little latte wagon that runs on electricity. Like a little moped/car that has a latte machine in the back... a very kool little thing. The client did not have a proper name for it yet. But i like the name OPEN COFFEE. The client said something like COFFEE 2 GO. But it was a bit too obvious I think. I dont want any clichés like the coffee mug etc or beans (for the symbol). Need more outside of the box than that i think. Its a very kool little coffe-car.
But i mostly need help with a SYMBOL. And no i dont want a vector image of the actuall car itself.
Thanks!
daniel

Hi Daniel,
i like what you have done with the type. Clever pun with the open O (mirrored C).
Why do you think that you need a symbol?

agree with Seb, why do you think you’ll need a symbol? I think the open O is “symbol” enough.

I like the clients input. It is coffee to go (car, go). Don’t over think this one make some simple signage. Maybe it should be latte to go, makes it a bit more upscale.

Make sure to post your images in RGB so everyone can see them.

How about Go Joe or Joe To Go?

That coffee bean inside the O is beginning to look like a wheel ..... just a thought.

The arrow on the G is a good idea but be careful because it’s pointing backwards.

I think it’s a little bit like a pig nose with the white on black, and the black on white looks like an animal print of some kind.
I agree with seb above... I don’t see the need for a symbol

I really like “Open Coffee” - but if the client can’t be sold on it, add it to your portfolio and move on.

Have him make a wax latte heart in the biggest coffee cup either of you can find, than hang it from the cart by the handle.

well here’s for you at least WANTING to do something out of the square.
after 12 weeks this should have been kick arse ... seems kinda diluted though ... not a good thing for business or coffee!
It’s a real shame, good on you for (seemingly) smiling.

I liked the earlier direction better. This looks like something from 1994.

noooooooooooooo!
What you did is fine given the constraints, but yea, such a bummer that the end result was such a compromise.
That *is* a great little vehicle. It really deserves a sleeker, more european logo treatment.

I hope you at least have a chance to kern that thing before it goes final. O-F is loose and Y-O is cavernous.

I like how you play with the ’O’ and ’C’ letters in your logotype design but if the client’s target audience is on-the-go consumer then part of the letters in the logotype can be designed using an italic family. Italic typeface can mean on-the-go.

WHAT?! the original is WAY better than the final! no offence, but I believe you tossed out a sturdy logo and made a dated, colour-dependent and kind of hokey.

Here is another kool scetch i did for this as well. But the client didnt like the idea... tooo bad!

haha i want to see the latest logotype you posted as a little waiter guy holding out a cup of coffee to the consumer. Yeah, shame about the final result, put the original in your portfolio, etc.
