I did NOT see my shadow today, which means spring is coming. Given we have had less than .1” of snow this winter here in the apple and that it’s supposed to go up into the 50s and 60s later this week I’d say my prediction is looking good... The little rat in Pennsylvania saw his shadow, but come on, who ya gonna believe?
Chris: Low-fat food, huh. I think today I’ll indulge.

Chris — the recipe I’ve got for authentic NYC cheesecake has 2.5 lbs of cream cheese and 8 eggs. You can’t eat more than one piece in 6 hours, trust me.... ;-)

I like the ricotta style cheese cake - it’s much lighter. But I don’t think that’s classic NY style. I just ate some rugelach, that’s a nice NY dessert too.
