Ai Blend Tool and Type
0

I just found this PS [[http://psdtuts.com/tutorials-effects/seriously-cool-photoshop-explosion-...|tutorial]]. It was of little interest until I saw step 14. So I applied that technique to type. I thought I would share those results with you.
Illustrator - Blend tool (w).
This tool makes complicated tasks extremely easy. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy.

It's a super spirograph.

I have written things out using shapes and the blend tool.

I think what you did with the text blend is more interesting than the original tutorial. I’ve seen some simple stuff done with text blends, but never with this level of complexity.

That is cool. I have been using the blend tool since it came out, as the "way cool" feature in AI88 (version 2). Of course, back then it would have taken 20 minutes for the blend you built to process on my old Mac SE.

Bet there were a lot of coffee breaks back then.

ah yes the blend tool rocks. also very handy for animation, as the elements can be separated into layers.
