also saw this at the airport yesterday and snapped a quick picture. :)

upon closer inspection, the letters appeared imperfect, suggesting it was lettered on paper and digitized, without too much worry about clean glyphs, or too much thought as to how the spacing should work. ;)

it’s definitely eye catching.

It called to mind Farao for me, too; and I know what you mean about the imperfections

Does anyone remember the “Skinny Latte” marketing material/signage? They had a nice serif they were using, but I was digital camera-less at the time.
