Im really struggling to find anywhere that has it in stock. Including amazon.

A bookstore in New York that has it would be ideal also as Im going there next weekend.

thanks!

The Barnes & Noble at New York City’s Union Square (north side) has a large selection of graphic design books on the fourth floor. I can’t say for sure whether they have it right now, but they probably do.

I got mine at a Border’s around a year ago (Manchester, CT). I believe there was more than one in stock, too. They were even wrapped in cellophane.

Mmm. What a good book.

I received mine from Amazon about a week ago. It takes them 2-3 weeks to send it (in the US).

If you’re in London this week, go to Magma Books in Covent Garden. I bought a copy there last Friday and they’d just taken delivery of a new batch.

David, great that sounds like the option.

As for amazon, I ordered one off one of those sellers who said they have it in stock then they told me afterwards that they actually didnt and are unable to track it down. Not sure why would they list that they have it stock when they dont.

anyway thanks for the help guys,
best

I’m not making excuses for Amazon, but there are several editions of the book, and some seem to be harder to find than others.

Amazon sellers are a very different matter from Amazon itself. They’re often small operations without a good inventory database system, and they may not always know exactly what they have.

In New York City, there are Barnes and Noble stores all over the place. If you go to their website (http://www.barnesandnoble.com) and search for the book, there will be a link on the right to “Find It” in their stores. Go to the link and type in a postal code (try something like 10036 for midtown Manhattan) and it will list stores, ranked by distance, and whether they have it in stock.
