Italian Garamond and Monotype Garamond are very close but the P does’nt match up... ?? Mixed bag?

Where does this sample come from?

As you say, Monotype Garamond is almost an exact match, so I think it’s at least based on that.

Hahaha, yes. But Lex and the others wanted to know, where you found it: In which newspaper, magazine, logo, …? Sometimes the people here can identify it by knowing the source of the sample.

Exactly. There’s a big difference between a scan from a magazine ad from 1967 and a graphic you found on a website.

It’s not the same as the example though - notice the squared-off serifs and differently shaped bowl.
