Could anybody identify the condensed typeface used for the UI of Windows Mobile 6.1?

Yep, it’s Segoe Condensed.

Looks like there are “Segoe UI” and “Segoe” and they are different.

Perhaps it’s “Segoe UI” but I couldn’t find any condensed.

I neglected to mention that you can get a copy of Segoe Condensed (including Bold) for free by downloading and installing the Windows Mobile 6 SDK.
Of course, you’ll have to adhere to whatever is in the EULA that comes with the installation package.
