Looking for similarities...
Hi Folks,
I have a feeling that some of these logo designs may have appeared elsewhere.
Does anyone recognize any of them, or can you think of any existing logos that may look/feel similar?

Top row, 3rd from left reminds me of Quark
3rd row, 2nd from left reminds me (remotely) of Windows.
Bottom row, 2nd from left reminds me of a feritility clinic which I can’t place.
Several do vaguely remind me of different things, but nothing specific. Why do you ask?
You might look around on Logopond as well.

Top to bottom, left to right:
1 - Agricultural logo I saw about 10 years ago in Mexico
2 - It looks too much like a stock icon
3 - No comment
4 - It looks too much like a stock icon
5, 6, 7 - No comment
8 - Similar to a TV show from Germany (check out dw-world.de)
9 - ?
10 - Too similar to a four-color press ad in CMYK magazine (or HOW or one of those)
11 - No comment
12 - There’s an antivirus software company who has a very similar brand
13 - Typophile?

I was just trying to help out. The folks at DataPortability.org were trying to vet their logo candidates in order to avoid a potential case of trademark infringement.
Unfortunately, that’s precisely what happened. The logo that was selected (#3, 1st row) looks a bit too much like the Zaoza logo. It’s really too bad: http://zaoza.com/
They are probably going to look at a secondary candidates from this list, so if anyone has any other specific ideas about possible trademark infringements, any help would be great.
