What font are you?

What font best describes you and your personality and why do you think it suits you best. I once did a quiz on ’What font are you?’ and the result was comic sans. Haha. Not the best, i’d say totally the opposite but yup. Goes to say, I have goofy humor to match it!

Now this is going to drive me crazy, missgiggles. Thanks a lot.
I may be Scala, but I’m not sure at all. There’s just something about Scala that reminds me of myself. I don’t even like it that much. And I like myself (I think?!), so that’s not right! :P
I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while, though, this relationship between people and typefaces. For example, to me, Palatino really looks like an old, somewhat distinct, calm and collected man, someone who has lived a life and has lots of experience but doesn’t flaunt it at all. Galliard is also someone with experience, but he can be a lot cooler and edgier than Palatino – which I see in the italic –, but a kind of an educated coolness that only years of experience can bring. But I only seem to be able to do this with some typefaces, and few.
I’ll get back at you, missgiggles. I’m really thinking about this! :P

rubenDmarkes

I do think that there’s a lot of me in Leiria. It’s discreetly quirky; it’s coherent, but there’s one or two things that seem out of place; it’s pixellated, thus a bit sharp and it may seem cold, but it’s very warm. But I think it’s quite hard to really capture me in one typeface, if I’m allowed the presumption. :P

By the way, someone who knows me pretty well immediately rejected Scala for me.

Really, though, I am a bit like Fertigo; I’m multitalented, not quite normal, and I don’t really have a defined purpose. I’m enthusiastic and occasionally off-putting, but in a pinch I’ll always get the job done for you.

Avant Garde.

I’d like to think I was a bit of an original, and I have a solid starting point, but now I’m overused and a little ubiquitous.

I’m also only useful in a handful of situations, but am reasonably well balanced, robust and real versatility when working within my comfort zone.

Analogy falls down a bit in places... never mind.

I’d say I’m the Miller family.

Some days I’m feeling strong and modern with just a little romantic longing for the past, like a roman. Other days I’m feeling slightly more assertive and artsy, like the italic. And then there’s days when I slip on the Armani suit and feel crisp and cool, like the Display.

According to that quiz, I’m Fixedsys (the answer I gave here before was the first thing that popped into my head)... It doesn’t make any sense although people do tend to ask me computer questions I don’t know the answer to ;-)
Judging from the answers I gave I think Linotype’s Konflikt describes me well: a complete contradiction & maybe slightly schizofrenic...
I’m just going to stick to my original answer: Arial :-)

Sounds like someone could do with coding up a new version of this, that’s got a wider / more imaginative selection of possible fonts at the back end of it!! LOL...

(or is it just that the general layperson, being told “You are Preissig Antikva” would go, “huh?”)
