New to Typophile? Accounts are free, and easy to set up.

The May 21st meeting will be held at Jupiter Lounge, 124 - 10th Street N.W.
Jupiter is just behind The Source in Kensington. Access is on the south (parking lot) side of the building, through the door marked with a Z, and up the stairs.

Theme is Letterpress Show-and-Tell -- if you've got it, flaunt it! ;-)
14 May 2008 — 2:24am
Thanks for using Sophisto ;-)
14 May 2008 — 8:04am
Stefan, I love using Sophisto. Quirky in all the right places, and easy to work with.
As Linda mentioned, a lot of the May meeting will be about letterpress. And we'll talk about Linda's recent escapades in America, and the Typophiles she met with. Hopefully, we'll also get an update on Lex's movie.
Everybody is welcome. (Though I realize a lot of you will have a bit of a commute.)

By then, the new movie site should be up in all of its Trajany glory :-)

Trajan! I was hoping for Papyrus :-)
14 May 2008 — 10:47am
...and then I went onto your movie's website and realized you weren't joking.

We wanted it to look as much like a "professional" movie site as possible, so Trajan was the obvious choice.

The true sign that it's a "professional" movie is if you also have your credits on the poster set in URW Bee.... ;-)

Sadly I only have a license for Univers (technically Zurich BT) so that's what I used. Although it does fit nicely with the Univers I used in the Apartment 32 and KMP logos.

I love Bitstream's Zurich. I find it quirky and easy to work with. No...wait...maybe that was some other font.
20 May 2008 — 7:48am
A gentle bump to remind folks of tomorrow's meeting.
Two big areas of discussion: letterpress *and* Lex's movie.
