A new Slab Serif? Feedback wanted

This is based on some sketches I did yesterday (happy fathers day!). I am wondering if there is currently any typeface like this.

ALSO! What do you think? This is my 5th typeface in the works.

Fairplex comes to mind.

I like how quiet and stoic these letters look. The b needs work on its counter, as it seems to bite a chunk out of the stem.

Any recent progress on this? I hope so…
