Something like Archer

Hi everyone. I am looking for a face similar to Archer Italic. I love the whimsical aesthetic, with the curved serif’s, but I’ve been unable to find anything remotely similar.

You may ask, why not just use Archer? Good question, the client is unable to dish out $300 for the package. So budget is an obstacle (what else is new, right?).

Any help would be fantastic. Thanks so much.

Maybe Parry Grotesque, or Sutro or Belizio. And Oxtail’s a bit funkier.

All great suggestions. A little further afield: FF Elementa and LTC Law Italic.

How could I forget Neutraface’s italic, which has a very similar structure sans the serifs.

FYI: You can get 10 styles (from Light to Bold, all with Italics) for $199: Archer 1 Basic Package.
