Odd quirky Italian Display Face what is it?

this one has odd counters. I know its kind of a whacky face but it works in the context of how i’m using it. anyone have any idea?

Looks very quirky. Perhaps old wood type?

You might like Rhodefrom Font Bureau. You might also like Knockout No. 94 Ultimate Sumo or Leviathan Black or Champion Gothic all from Hoefler & Frere-Jones. Oh and Maple from Process Type Foundry has a very nice black weight and is a little quirky too.

thanks! champion gothic was my backup if i couldnt get any other suggestions. but the rhode has some similar characteristics that may work as well. I appreciate the help.

marcox, youre right that is quite similar, i think im still going to go with Knockout Sumo or Champion as both have several weights.
