Looking for wooden/decorative type
I’m looking for wooden/decorative type similar to the white text in the H&F-J logo on their site. Anything similar to this style would we very useful. I’ve trawled through dafont and a few other free font sites and haven’t been able to find anything useful. Could really use some help.
Cheers

Hi Seán,
The ornate “H&FJ” in the background of our logo isn’t a typeface, it’s a piece of lettering created by Jonathan Hoefler. — http://www.typography.com/ask/topics.php?topicID=13#Faq_107
You might find something of use in this thread: Circus Fonts and Wild West Fonts.
Furthermore: Madame. And some freebies, for good measure: Egyptienne Zierinitialen/Romantiques, Ringmaster.

You’re welcome.
I’m not so sure about them being awesome. They may serve some purposes, but usually, decorative wood typefaces like these have to be tall to unfold their full glory – and at bigger sizes, the shortcomings of these digitizations become visible.
