Hi all,
Can anyone help me ID this font:
http://www.unitus.com/logo.gif
Thanks Lee
Not a lot to go on — the i and the t are probably customized, the u an n are fairly generic, and the the sample’s too small to get much info from the s.
The bold/black weight humanist sans like Frutiger or Myriad would get you pretty close.
Thanks again, I have printed material for these guys, will scan it when I get a moment.
Erik Spiekermann likes to do such a ‘some-serif i’, check out Officina, Info or Unit. F
It’s a customization of Myriad Bold.
q.e.d.! ;-)
A “public font forgery” made by URW is called “Unitus”
see http://www.sanskritweb.net/forgers/euroworksm.pdf, page 17

quod erat misdemonstrandum :-)
