This was the original font for NBC’s “All-American Summer” campaign (since switched to Avant Garde):

Looks like Gotham to me.
Seriously... @ mydot: I was just going to say it reminds me of the typefaces that inspired Gotham Talking about being retro!

Aaux Pro Ultra is not a perfect match, but has a lot of characteristics in common with the sample. also, various versions – Aaux, Pro, Next, Display etc – are available from different sources, so another cut may come even closer.
