Getting rid of "cool free" fonts
I have done my best to clear out the obvious offenders but there are still some left on my machine. What “cool free font” providers should I be looking to purge? SWFTE seems almost legit but my gut says otherwise - any one else?

Follow your gut. SWFTE is a knockoff shop that created many fonts of poor technical and design quality.

The “cool free font providers“ essentially all have the same stuff. Most of it is trash. Some fonts may serve display type needs. Sometimes trash is just what you’re looking for.

Time to back everything up - do a clean install - and use a font management app to add/enable the backed-up fonts as needed.

delete all - all you need is Kosmik. Hooray for that :-)
