Hey everybody. I am attaching an old logo that has been used for years at my company that I want to refresh. For now, I am primarily interested in updating the type. Any suggestions?

If you want to stay close to the ’original’, you may want to consider Garda (Titling No 2/3), by Mário Feliciano, for a modern refresh. (As for the symbol it may be sufficient enough to just reduce the ’bow/ribbon’ to one solid color and make it more like a flourish/ornament.)

I suggest you reconsider the all caps approach too. Its so daunting, austere and detached - very 2001. Think friendly and approachable.

For starters get rid of the two dots beside the A, it looks weird..

this stuff is all over every other movie poster, so it’s not so “old” in that aspect...

I think the question to be asked is what kind of company is this? What kind of gift? Dozens of treatments might be appropriate for the words but what will your company’s audience react to best?
