The dots are propably a custom job, look at the both L:s - they are different.

IIRC, it is a custom typeface created by Metadesign.

Eduardo's right, the face was designed by Jürgen Huber of MetaDesign. It's called Hothouse. See this article.

I have a font I made for work.. it looks very similar and is quite bad.. but your welcome to it if you want it..

That look a bit like "Crank 8", which is used throughout Esquire Magazine (although usually in a less-bold weight than this). Crank 8 is currently sitting atop my list of drool-worthy fonts, but it is apparently not available to the public.
