hi does anyone know any typefaces similar to Venus Halbfett? i need something tall like Venus Halbfett and i would also like it if some characters had "character" like the lower case y in Venus Halbfett.

thanks!

Hi,

what’s wrong with Venus Halbfett? Knowing that would help finding an alternative.

Sorry that I couldn’t include your great Grotext – it has … err … too little quirks? ;-)
Despite the name, it is in a whole different genre, isn’t it? Will appear on another list.

Not just quirks, it's a completely different genre and doesn't belong here.

I think your list hits the mark when it comes to sanserifs of the same the "spirit" as Venus. Especially Monotype Grotesque shows as much of Art Nouveau (I think of proportions more than details), the others a little less.

You might perhaps add Font Bureau's Antenna, Scout, and Vonness. The last two specifically referenced Venus as part of their development, though it's not always directly evident.

Excellent list, Florian. A man after my own heart. I would add Folio.
