Looking for a geometric sans
0

Hi all,

I'm looking for a geometricish sans that has display qualities similar to Futura, but has text qualities like Frutiger. Preferably available in a family with a range of weights from Light to Black, and presence of hanging figures.

Any suggestions? :)

Best,
Artur

I like Locator a lot (@Process Type) and used it in my own ID. No hanging figs, tho…

[[Avenir]] – [[Adrian Frutiger|Frutiger]]’s [[Futura]] – would be an obvious answer, no?
Avenir Next comes with old-style figures.

Have a look at [[Thomas Phinney]]’s Hypatia Sans: 6 weights from Extralight to Black (though no Italics yet), and all kind of figures you can imagine. Once you found your way throught the various OpenType Stylistic Subsets, Hypatia Sans will turn out to be a very versatile system.
