I tried everything, but i cannot identify this font, it almost looks like two different fonts combined, please any suggestions?
Has some characteristics of Galliard.
Close but not quite yet
i found some simularities with the Fairfax myself, but not enough
where did you get the sample from? maybe that might help...
believe it or not this is a logo! is for an organisation for international cooperation in higher education http://www.nuffic.nl/
and earlier i didn't mean the fairfax but the fairfield, my bad
http://www.paratype.com/fstore/default.asp?fcode=160&letter=F
Maybe it's one of those real obscure fonts..like from The Foundry or DTL..
i allready checked DTL abut i don't know the foundry of did you mean http://www.teff.nl/index-type.html

http://www.foundrytypes.co.uk/
Looks a little like Origin but they don't provide PDFs to get a closer look:(
thanks i will
i requested a sample, it looks pretty close but it is hard to see
Got it, and it is not a match, nice font though
come on someone has to know
You could try asking the designers.
thanks
It's very close to Trump Medieval Bold, though the Trump serifs are more oblique and the arm on the "f" is shorter in Trump.
so you think it is modified?
man..that is some mod then. I doubt it is Trump, I can't believe someone would go into such trouble to tweak the serifs. Ad the f is too different. Did you ask the designers?
no, i think there are some issues between the nuffic and the fabrique
