Problems with the metrics window.

im using fontographer and for some reason the metrics window is showing a destorted version of each character, they appear much thinner and generally weird. this has never happened before and doesnt effect the actual font when using it in another application. the problem is just making it hard to do spacing and kerning as im not getting a true representation of the characters. can anyone help?

Try this:
Select all characters from the character menu
and then Get Info. Make sure the *Fill* box in
the upper left corner is checked.

thanks for the advice jim but no luck, the text still looks distorted. any other ideas?

Be sure the Stroke is unchecked in the Info box, also check that all your paths are going the right way (for FOG).

Maybe you accidentally "doubled" the paths at some point?

thanks for the advice folks, it was the stroke box causing the problem.
