"Ms Walker had caused disharmony in the workplace by using block capitals, bold typeface and red text in her emails"
Red text can cause seizures, don't you know.
This reminds of a scene in You Can Count On Me, in which a new bank manager is not happy with employees choosing their own font and background colors.
Does GMail support the blink tag?
Dang, sorry for bumping your comment, Si!
"What planet do you live on?"
is OK, but
"WHAT PLANET DO YOU LIVE ON?"
Has anyone told Barney Frank?
I've always thought people were joking about email etiquette. Fired for disharmony? I wouldn't make it ten minutes.

> "TO ENSURE YOUR STAFF CLAIM

doesn't seem like it should cause all that much "disharmony".
criminey, it even says "please"...
of course, personally i've heard people bitch about much less.
I used to work with a fellow who used Comic Sans for all his emails. Surely that is grounds for dismissal? :-)
(Apart from that he was a nice guy and a good engineer.)
