Hi,

Can anyone tell me what this font is? It is used by the Sunday Times (UK) style magazine.

Thank you

Bureau Eagle Book.

Unless Bureau Eagle has an alternate G (none is shown at Font Bureau's site), this is something similar but different.

Verlag is quite close, but there are subtle differences, and the black weight isn't heavy enough.

Thank you all, Neutraface is spot on - thanks Jan

The Archer Farms–brand food at Target seems to use a version of Eagle with an alternate G:

Not the original poster's font, but kind of interesting nonetheless.

Yeah, it looks like they changed the G, which was a sort of quirky letter that may have looked too much like a C in the original version, but I don't see it as an alternate in the font itself. Speaking of 'Original', that word on the package looks like our own Mark Simonson's "Coquette".
