Correct use of Fleurons
0

I'm designing a book about Medieval churches and would like to use Fleurons to decorate the copy and boarders; does any one know of any good online resources/precedents/examples. I'd like it to be an informed design rather than fluffing it.

Many thanks,

R

Bruce Rogers did some brilliant work with fleurons in his time; you can see a few of his title pages in the Google Books preview of Paragraphs on Printing.

Poke around here:

This is NOT easily navigated, but the late Mr. Giampa did fabulous work. Just keep clicking on things, especially "continue" and you'll see great things!

Thank you Mr Nolan! Mr. Giampa is exceptional. One of the churches featured in the book is this one http://www.puppettheatre.co.uk/ which may be of interest to you.

Thank you so much! That is of great interest. I'd like to visit that theatre some day.
