(x) Martha Stewart Weddings Typefaces / Fine humanist sans - Mundo Sans Extra Light {Dan P}
Does anyone know the name of the typeface used in Martha Stewart Wedding magazine recent issue. It looks like Hoefler & Frere-Jones' Whitney but some letters are not. Is this custom font? Many thanks!

There are few upper case letters in your sample. If you have an M, G and R, the Sans Serif Font ID Guide might help, or Identifont could be worth a try. It is at its best for text faces like this.

On the Hoeffler & Frere-Jones' website it lists Martha Stewart Weddings as a client they've worked with to develop custom typography.

Thanks much Minimalista. I emailed them [both] but didn’t get the result. If I am not mistaken, that’s custom-made fonts and not release to public yet.

Even Martha Stewart acquires regular, publicly available fonts every once in a while, just like everybody else. The font in the sample is Mundo Sans Extra Light.
