BBC History of the world - from serif to sans

I can see Gotham as a sans, but cant clearly tell the serifs and slab serif.
Anyone have an idea?

Caslon for the serif.

I think "OF" might be Clarendon.
"STORY" looks like it might be Times New Roman morphing into Clarendon, and "THE" might be clarendon morphing into Gotham, or there might be an intermediate, unbracketed slab (hard to tell with just those three letters).

The A is not Caslon, and I don't think the rest is either.

The OR are Times Roman, but the ST are not. Not sure what they are though.

That Slab looks like close to Caecilia LT Standard’s Heavy.
