Just something I now noticed. There is regular and bold, no italic or italic bold. I was working on a web page and I could of swore the italic I used was oblique and I was right, the browser has to fake it.

Well I used Tahoma because its basically a condensed version of Verdana. Learned that from these forums and so it works really well, but I would of thought an italic version existed

Tahoma was intended as a Windows/Office UI font. As I recall when it was is use there was no italic in the UI.

Yup.
And despite what sii says, there has been a conspiracy to keep this a secret because it's supposed to be one of the "web safe" fonts.
Not so "safe" after all, eh, sii?
