Need some help...
I love glaserSted font. It's freeware and can be found here:

However, I do not know the font that this comes from. I'm looking for the "parent" font that the author turned into a stencil type font. Essentially, I'm looking for this simple, sans-serif font to use with glaserSted.
Thanks.

Actually, it's not a freeware font; it's a pirated or unauthorized version of this URW's version of Glaser Stencil...

oops.
However, is there a font that is exactly like this, but not a stencil?
Thanks for the help.

There isn’t an exact non-stencil version (see here: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/glaser-stencil/), however, there’s plenty of similarly constructed sans serif typefaces (you can start here: http://new.myfonts.com/tags/geometric/)
