Normally, getting the mail is a pretty routine and boring event. Not today! The wonderful irony of finding these two masterpieces stacked together IN THE SAME BUNDLE OF MAIL is not lost on me:

Election Mail

And I’ve now realized the best solution to the US 2004 presidential election:

Election Mail Hidden Meaning

I just had to share my enlightenment — thank you.

Well I received a MS software box.. and it said..

Packed in the United States (Puerto Rico).

So I guess George didn’t take Geography.

Habeebi, it could say “Packed in the United States (UK)” and still be more correct than not.

Just out of sheer curiosity I validated http://www.johnkerry.com/index.html and http://www.georgewbush.com/ for compliance on web standards.

Here are the results (un-cheated!)

–––––––––––—
John F. Kerry — Errors: 15
apparently isn’t so aware of doctypes

George W. Bush — Errors: 287
apparently isn’t so aware of anything
–––––––––––—

ok now WHO is surprised?

Both aren’t perfect, but who’s more compatible with the world? And I didn’t even have to fiddle with voting machines!

But you’re not American, so you weren’t even supposed to look at the Bush site, much less have any opinion on it, goldangit!

Bush/Cheney wer first on my Maryland ballot. Ralph Nader was on it too, along with Democrat, Green and Constitution Party candidates. Maryland is a one-party state, though

Well Nader was last on the WA ballot and the Green party was third. I guess because Nader moved to independent
