Newspaper Blackletter ID

This question may have already been answered, but can someone please ID some good blackletter faces? Specifically New York Times, Chicago Tribune and/or Boston Globe? Thanks much.

Those are all custom designs, made specially to suit the newspaper and the particular letters. The Tribune nameplate is by Jim Parkinson, as are many other blackletter nameplates.

For a classic textura (the variety of blackletter most of these nameplates are), my favorite is Goudy Text.

Jim Parkinson's Avebury is closer to a newpaper masthead than a lot of blackletter fonts are. It might even be based on one of his masthead designs.

<3 nicks fonts.. my personal fav is His Nibs NF.. its just so elagant looking
