I can't identify the font used for the shirt numbers of Celtic and Chelsea (in Champions league games). It's a very bold Sans with a thin centered line. The 8 and 4 are curious characters. A picture of the Celtic 10 can be found on:
http://www.goal.com/DWH_Club.aspx?idSocieta=223&idStagione=9
and clicking the left picture.
A picture of the Chelsea 8 is to be found on:

The Chelsea 22 can be viewed on:

Any suggestions?

I've found it very hard to find a good shot of the letters from those sites you've given... I assume you're looking for the numbers on the back of the jerseys, correct?
You could look through Mike's Lined Fonts ID Guide, but I haven't found anything to match exactly.
How about Tokyo or maybe Hotel to get you started?

Thanks Ryan. I didn't know there were so many lined fonts! But none of them is a perfect match. Specially the 8 is quite strange with a very small upper en tall lower oval.
