Doing a college project on city types and need to identify typefaces from photos. But only have a single letter within each photo to work with. Can anyone help me identify the following typefaces.
47 looks Futura EDIT: more Kable than futura: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/kabel/heavy/testdrive.html?s=47&p=72 TTT looks Clarendon http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/clarendon-2/clarendon-bold-expanded/testdrive.html?s=TILE+TWO+THOUSAND&p=24
Use ITC Serif Gothic and you don't need to add the thorn, just file off the serifs
Here are the samples: 1. 2. 3. I'd say Neutraface for the G. Chris, can you make sure next time you post .GIF or .JPG files, as the Board software doesn't accept anything else. It all gets explained in the FAQ.
Yves is on the right track. Add a little thorn to Neutraface, Proxima Sans Black, or Avenir and you get close to the G.
