Trying to find something that looks like these, I'm guessing building sign is hand painted from the 70s? The closest I've got so far is Gaz or Geheimagent but they both look too compressed...
Boat numbers - no idea, all help received with enormous gratitude!

The boat numbers are, appropriately enough, in a genre known as "Scotch" (although of course these are hand lettered). You'll find a bunch of variants on MyFonts, none an exact match: http://myfonts.us/td-ov3ANm

You're most likely right about the sign being hand painted: the CA combo is simply too clumsy to be a commercial viable product. Or, so it appears to me…
