Subtitle Font

Any help appreciated!

Arial Bold, I’d say.

It is very similar to Arial Bold – but the corners... they look so round and soft compared Arial's, don't you think?

That’s most certainly due to means of reproduction as subtitles.

I see... it does give Arial Bold a nice look and readability for the screen, doesn't it? Would you perhaps know any of the 'means of reproduction as subtitles' I could recreate to achieve the same result? Thanks.

Encode your video with low quality settings?
Or you can use a different font, one that’s already “soft on the corners”, such as Calibri.

Calibri looks very good for achieving the "soft corner" results, thank you very much for the insight! ; )
