First post. Great site.

I am looking for old italian typefaces, or references to this so that I may recreate certain aspects.

Everything helps.

.....and scroll down to the middle of the page where it speaks of...."The First Book Printed in Italy, the First Book Printed in Roman Type, & One of the First Printed Editions of a Classical Text-
September 1465". That first book using Roman type was from Italy.
