Italian italic, 1911

Unfortunately it's a photo of a photocopy, but hope someone can help identify this splendid Modern italic from Rome, 1911. Found in the Catalogo dei punzoni e delle matrici orientali e latini from the Tipografia Poliglotta Vaticana.

You should use the Edit link to move the thread out the "Solved IDs" section up to the main Type ID Board.

Hopeful bump :-)

It is very reminiscent of Madison Antiqua, which, according to Jaspert, Berry and Johnson's Encyclopedia, was originally called Amts-Antiqua, and issued in 1909 by Stempel. It also says the typeface was redesigned in 1965, maybe that's when the descender of the lc f was cut off at the baseline etc.

Beautiful, thanks very much!

I hope the information you provide in your articles that are useful to help others in dealing with the problems of bitterness, and that all feel relief after completing the problem.

and for that I also had an interesting info for my friends here from Cipto Junaedy with a good strategy to have knowledge about properties like this he expected us to be independent and the more authoritative because Mr Cipto Junaedy is a master of the property and many know the world Desain Rumah Minimalis and also My Otomotif
