Dear typographers and designers,
I have a problem when I generate my designed fonts as (Open Type: OTF) from the FontLab Version 5.0 I do have this message:
"WARNING: The feature file OS/2 overrides TypoAscender and TypoDescender do not sum to the font bbox size!" The photo of this warning is attached.
What could be the reasons behind this message and how could I solve this problem and get rid of it?
Thank you ..

Reading through this post about vertical metrics should help. You will need to adjust the metrics of the font.

In my experience, this is simply a stupid FontLab trick. To fix it, simply make sure that the Ascender and Descender (as a positive number) values equal 1,000. I am not certain, but I think that this bit of Wizard Math is one of the few things that DTL OTMaster actually does.
Speaking of DTL, any word on Kernmaster 2012? Not that it matters, but I do have a FREE upgrade coming…
