Old Macworld font

Looking to see if anyone can identify the old Macworld logo?

Apple was using ITC Garamond in those days. This is ITC Garamond, but with a custom or alternate W.

ITC Garamond Book, to be precise. And the W is definitely custom. There was no alternate.

To be more precise (I think), Apple had a special condensed (compressed?) version of ITC Garmond Book made for them.

Well, the question was about the old Macworld logo font, but...

Apple originally just condensed ITC Garamond Light to 85%. Later on, a special version called ITC Garamond Narrow was created for Apple. It's been generally available since the early nineties.

Ah, memory properly jogged - thank you.
