Is there a generic monospace font that looks similar?

Seemingly many CJK fonts contain this design:
--SimSun -- of course, MS Windows Font, which your Wikipedia link says is proportional.
--FangSong - MS Windows Font
--Zhongyi Electronic - BIG5-HKZHT
--Zhongyi Electronic - ZYSongKX-16_24_32_52
--Ricoh - MS Mincho
I could not find a design match smaller than 5mb.

Thanks ... do you know if the Latin characters in those fonts were made from scratch, or are they basically the same as some generic class of monospace fonts?

I don't know their history and I could not find such a generic font without CJK characters.
