Help with tattoo font!

Hey!

I'm about to make my first tattoo and I need to know the exact font of this picture. Could you please help me identify it? (See attached file).

Thank you!

Since you are in the 'font' zone, I would like to ask you a question about the font i've been looking for:
The attached file is a tattoo I really want, but I can't find this font on the web.

I have a client looking to have us replicate this type for a business card, and I have a feeling I am not going to be able to find it. Since it is effected and warped so much, I can't use any typical font identity applications. After browsing through similar font types for over an hour, I can't find anything that is similar enough to use or manipulate. Any help with this would be awesome, but I may just be stuck with using their pixelated art, or attempting to redraw in illustrator...

Thank you

Can anyone help me figure out what font this tattoo is? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hello,

My girlfriend is looking for a tattoo for a long time.
Now she wanted to have the words "Ibu" on her wrist.
Ibu means Mom, she wants to do this because her mom past a way 2 months ago.

Now, She wants some curly letters, But not TO curly.
We are having a problem with the letter i in capital so I. We think this just looks to much as an J.
Now my question is if someone can help me, or making the letters, or to check out some fonts etc.

Example we had in mind, we just don't like the I

I hope we can get some reactions,

I have 3 of my 4 kids names tattooed on my arm. I want to get the 4th one done, but I can't find the font anywhere. My tattoo artist doesn't work at the place he used to work at, and that is where I found the font to begin with. I asked him if he thought I could get away with going into the place he used to work at, and taking a pic of the font board, or something like that, and he said no. So, I'm on the hunt. Any idea what this is? I used Identifont, and it came up with a similar one (Alys), but it's not exactly the same.

I saw this picture and I think I liked the font more than the picture itself. Can anyone help figure out what font it is?

Thanks.

Hi guys!
I am new to this forum, and really desperate of figuring out what font they used on this girls tattoo!
I haven't got one clue, of what it could be, so I really depend on you all!:)
Thnx

Hoping someone can help me identify the font used in this tattoo, or since it is a tattoo, a font that closely resembles it

What font is this?

Hey guys,

I'd like to get a tattoo and I found a cool font but can't find what it is. Maybe one of you can help?

Hey Guys,

I'm a third year Graphic Design student and i am constructing an imaginary seminary for one of my papers.

I am looking for interesting Spatial Typographers as ideas for speakers, I have a few chosen but i would really like to find some tattoo artists that specialize in type, as i am looking into the personal aspect contrasting corporate identities.

Can anyone help me out with some suggestions?

Thanks! :)

Hi there.. I've searched for months for the right font to finish off my MJ Memorial sleeve. I've done a quick search here and I haven't found anything positive about Michael Jackson, so please no comments on the subject, haha.

I have an almost completed sleeve on my left arm. It is art nouveau inspired and very colorful. I am looking for a font that can be used to finish this. I know it has to exist somewhere the way it does in my head (I can't draw or I'd just make something up myself).

It needs to be light, flowing, magical, unique AND go with an art nouveau style.

It will say "so anyway, I think we've captured some good magic here"

Hello,

I'm a experimental film student from Brussels, I like tattoo's and I just got my first ink. I don't want any drawings on my body, just fonts. Because they are figurative AND the have a direct meaning and message.

I want to put a piece of text on my chest. A fragment of a monologue from "Mad Men".

"νοσταλγία

it's delicate, but potent.
in Greek, "nostalgia" literally means "the pain from an old wound."
It's a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone.
Nostalgia isn't a spaceship, it's a time machine.
It goes backwards, and forwards...
It takes us to a place where we ache to go again.
It let's us travel the way a child travels - around and around, and back home again.
To a place where we know we are loved."

I was wondering if anyone might be able to take a crack at identifying this font. I'm interested in using it for a tattoo.

I'm also open to similar styles if what you have in mind looks kind of like the above images but isn't quite right. I'm kind of partial to Indelible Victorian Regular (http://www.fonts.com/FindFonts/detail.htm?productid=275783) as well, if it weren't quite so hard to read!

Thanks for any help! I've been scouring the internet trying to figure this out but I'm pretty new to typography.

Normally i dont second guess other "designers" but there are many things that make me question this person hand drew this typeface.
So im looking for anyone who might have seen it before, specifically the lower case glyphs since the uppers are easily modified for variation(unless you are a complete newb).

Hello everyone, I just want to share a new release Piel Script.

After several years of receiving tattoo requests and images of them using my fonts, I decided to design and publish a tattoo-style typeface. You can see the specimen here. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed designing it.

If you want to see more images in use or to license the font or just to read more about it.

Best,
Ale Paul

I'm giving away a copy of Body Type 2 by Ina Saltz. It's a great collection of typographic tattoos. Comment on my blog to win! http://www.glennsorrentino.com/blog/view/win_a_copy_of_body_type_2/

"From Rimbaud to the Rolling Stones, from declarations of love and belief systems to self-empowerment and homage, the choice of a typographical tattoo provides insight into the human condition.

Styling Helvetica for Tattoo?

A co-worker of mine is getting a tattoo this week. Her name is "Tiffany" and she's looking to get just the world "beautiful" on her arm. She's really liking the absence of style that Helvetica provides. However, she'd really like to style the "tif" part in the word a bit different as it's part of her name.

We played around with a few ideas, such as making it light, but nothing really felt right because it sits in the middle of the word and seems to break up the consistency that Helvetica provides in the first place.

Anyone have any good recommendations on how to style that part of the word different in such a way that still looks great? Or maybe any examples of signs/posters where they've done something similar that has looked great?

I was hoping that you guys could help me out. I am by no means a typographer of any sort, so I was hoping to get your help. I would like to get the following verse in a tattoo on my right calf, and was hoping I could get your opinions on fonts, spacing, kerning and all that good stuff.

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

That is the verse I was planning on, and I was hoping to run it just under half way around my calf and then rap to the next line, so I'm guessing it would have to be about 16pt, hoping for no longer than 3 lines long... I don't know if this would be adequate information.. That would make the width about 3.5 to 4 inches across..
