interactive

Sometimes a surprise, sometimes as expected – MeM is an interactive type system with a wide range of individual personalities.

The eccentric experimental type system created by Elena Schädel and Jakob Runge in 2012. It produces many personalities, each individual and emotive. You will never know which of the alternating letters is going to occur next. Basically, at the heart of it all is MeM: four different weights and letter shapes melded together into one powerful font and shuffled with the sleek usability of OpenType.

I am looking for a nice and modern sans serif for my company. Any suggestions?

The following fonts I like, but they are just not it..

Helvetica (Duah)

FF Max
Soho Gothic
Neo Sans
Din

Maybe something with digital/tech like rounded corners like barrister (only without the clumsiness :P)

Hello all:

I have been recently invited to join a panel discussion regarding typographic trends for web or interactive media. The discussion will center primarily around the aesthetics vs. the technical aspects of type. I'm hoping y'all can help me round up some examples and thoughts on what you're seeing as trends.

For example, in my daily perusing I have noticed that a lot of sites are using larger and larger type, often slab-serifs. There's also the ubiquitous Helvetica showing up on everything regardless of appropriateness, but that's a whole different topic.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hello Typophiles,

Could anyone point me to any helpful resources on creating interactive PDFs in InDesign CS4? I've found a few tutorials, but I was wondering if there is a quality book/e-book written on the subject.

Thanks,
Dan
