Invitation Script, just released, by Intellecta Design

Forums:

Hello, colleagues. We, at Intellecta, are proud to announce Invitation Script, a modern and clean revival of the classic work of the Portuguese master penman Manuel de Andrade de Figueiredo, whose work can be seen in “Nova Escola para aprender a ler, escrever, e contar (...)'' (1722)(see footnote). Invitation Script is the third script superfamily published by Intellecta Design, after Penabico and Van den Velde Script.

Invitation Script has original letters designed by Iza W. Creative direction and core programming were provided by Paulo W. Chyrllene K assisted with some work on unusual and archaic styles, resulting in a special font - Invitation Script Archaic (soon available).

Help!

Hi Everyone- I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm getting married on September 7. I just received my wedding invitations from a vendor on Etsy. The invitations were supposed to look like the picture, however, they showed up with black and dark pink ink instead of dark gray and light pink. I can't go back to the original vendor who messed up because she’s (conveniently) on vacation until July 14. And I can't change my wedding colors this late in the game. I can, however, recreate the invitation and reprint it in the right color ink. I just need to find out what font she used. Any ideas?? Thank you for your help!!!!

WANTED: Wedding App Font

Forums:

I'm a Ross MBA student an mobile app entrepreneur. I am creating a wedding app that will cater to the high end of the market. I am looking for something that straddles the line between high/end elegant and fun/hip. My target customer is mid to late twenties. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! (and possibly purchased)

Great Retro yet Modern stylish fonts

I'm looking for the fonts used in this card, (especially the ampersand "&" and the word "The".

I want to make a wedding invitation as well, with a similar feel.
It 's a little retro, but not tooo much. It's romantic but not tacky and minimalist but not too artsy.

So I really like this, though I do not want to copy it... I just like the way it feels,
The names of the fonts would be great.. but if you have any idea's on how I could obtain a similar look, that would be great !

Thanks a bunch !

Photography business logo

I am in the process of designing a logo and identity around a photography business. The client wants to look young and modern, while alluding to early 20th century america. She does wedding photography and portraiture as well as boudoir/ pin-up style photography. She wants to appeal to a younger clientele; mid 20's to 30's primarily without excluding a wider range of potential customers. I would appreciate any feedback and/or direction. Thanks for your time.

Mynaruse Royale, an expansion of Mynaruse with script capitals.

Forums:

Mynaruse Royale is an expansion of Mynaruse Titling. It features script capitals and widely tracked and smaller titling capitals. Mynaruse Royale has plenty of character and, with its powerful and sharp serifs that draw the eye. Mynaruse Royale is useful in settings that call for titling with an extra touch of elegance, such as a storefront, wedding program or formal invitation.
Mynaruse Royale contains a number of OpenType alternates, including alternate forms for the capitals that are large, drop cap like capitals instead of the calligraphic script capitals found in the default forms. Additionally there are non widely tracked lowercase forms that work well with the included alternate characters and ligatures.

Business Card Design Help

Hi Everyone,

I've started doing freelance jobs with wedding/event planners and wanted to come up with a business card that speaks to my new clientele. The card will be letterpressed. It's minimal but I was hoping the typography and tactile feeling of the letterpress would carry it through and give it a classic elegant look and feel.

One last note: to get the deal on letterpressing this must be one color black and one sided.

I really would love to know what you think, any opinions, criticism, anything at all!

Thanks!
Stephanie
