Hey there everyone. Looking for this font exactly. I am trying to recreate the print on the T-shirt and all I need is this font. Maybe someone has encountered it.
I had the pleasure of having a piece of lettering and illustration accepted to the newly formed, designer-driven, profit sharing t-shirt company Cotton Bureau. I have two more days to achieve 3 more pre-orders, or nobody gets to sport my intricately crafted design. Would love to see this go to print and worn with pride, I'm not sure why I didn't think to post this here earlier. Here's the link: https://cottonbureau.com/products/practice
This one is giving me a headache cause I think in the back of my mind I have seen this exact font someplace before or even had it installed on my system at one point. At first I thought it was Octin College Black.. but it's not an exact match.. can any one help me ID this? Thanks!
WikiLeaks is having a t-shirt design competition over at 99designs. And could really like WikiLeaks to get an appropriate and effective t-shirt, I have tried and it is fun, but the competition holder seems to mostly appreciate geeky or in my opinion some very bad designs. I got so desperate I even tried to do Star Wars and Matrix series to please the hackers... But we really seem to have different tastes...
However I still think WikiLeaks deserves the best, so I would like to find the middle ground between us.
We just released the second in our series "The Ten Commandments of George Lois." The quotation reads The creative act, the defeat of habit by originality, overcomes everything. When I first approached George about collaborating, this was his immediate suggestion and remains one of his more celebrated statements.
My favorite quote of his, "Great ideas can't be tested. Only mediocre ideas can be tested" was the first release in the series.
A portion of the proceeds from sales of this shirt will benefit the Herschel Levit scholarship fund at Pratt Institute, Mr. Lois' alma mater.
You all know a thing or two about airport security.
Every year I fly once or twice to the US and I have started to see a pattern.
The rigorous checks we all have to go through before boarding takes a lot of time and it is not always visible what they are for.
Coming from The Netherlands, I feel that once they see where we are from we will have to undergo a 'random security check'. I'm not sure anymore how random these are ...
But being cool about it (they are just doing their job), I feld I had to give this a podium in a t-shirt.
Feel free to share your thoughts.
Every Friday we give away a free tee at TypographyShop. http://bit.ly/aWP8Ga

There's no catch. If you're not on our mailing list we'd love it if you'd pop over here and sign up, but it's not necessary.
Have a great weekend.
