I have just started my graphic design course and the assignments require us to get feedback from other people. My current assignment is to design a wine label and get feedback.
If anyone can help and give me some constructive criticism on my designs, it will be greatly appreciated! I'm still getting used to photoshop, illustrator etc etc. So please take it easy on me and please keep in mind that these are just quick drafts to give you an understanding of how I want my designs to look.
THANK YOU! (:
I need some feedback on this logo.Client business is to supply food supplements to gyms. Here is the logo.
Thanks in advance.
Since you have been such excellent, honest and admirable Critics, i would like to ask for inputs once more. In the last post i have shown you the typeface alpha and i was already writing about making a bold. Now i have adjusted the regular some more and i have created the bold typeface. Therefore i would like to hear what you think about my former work, so i can polish it.
I would be glad to have your opinion concerning the Neue Frutiger 1450 released by Monotype. I've also seen that they have published an article : "DIN 1450 – the German standard on legibility of texts" which could be seen as a marketing argument to justify, and sell this 1450 serie. (Maybe I'm wrong?).
I've seen some tough feedbacks on Twitter today by some weel known and hi-skilled type designers :
The typeface Frutiger myth was just devastated by a marketing trick today.
I'm working on a piece of lettering with plans of extending it to a full display typeface later.
I would highly appreciate any professional feedback on this stage.
(yep i want to stick with such leg for "R"=)
it's far from finished:
the weight between characters is still a little uneven, and some letters i'm not sure about. i was thinking of scrapping the g and starting on a two-story g (along the lines of johnston, akkurat etc.)
i started by wanting to create a grotesque striped down to its simplest form by removing unnecessary terminals.
can you guys please give me some feedback on the type on my blog? I have no idea what I am doing. http://bit.ly/ifhd6T
ignore the lowercase and the bad writing. thanks. :)
I will provided the "Question of the Week" and give my answer. I hope in return, you share your answers.
Q: Who would win a fight, Batman or Ironman?
A: My money would be on Ironman. The guy can fly or jet around. Batman? He needs his vehicle and he can only glide, technically can't fly.
What do you think?
You all know a thing or two about airport security.
Every year I fly once or twice to the US and I have started to see a pattern.
The rigorous checks we all have to go through before boarding takes a lot of time and it is not always visible what they are for.
Coming from The Netherlands, I feel that once they see where we are from we will have to undergo a 'random security check'. I'm not sure anymore how random these are ...
But being cool about it (they are just doing their job), I feld I had to give this a podium in a t-shirt.
Feel free to share your thoughts.
My friend asked me to make an online portfolio for her. She's an architecture graduate. So far, I haven't encountered that many individual architecture portfolios online, so I decided to seek for some feedback and some info on it here.
What I'm working on at the moment is the type for her full name. I need something that would look good both in print and screen.
The aspects I doubt about are the width of the type and the unusual "R" I've used (if the curve looks good or I don't need it at all?). I haven't dealt with the kerning on the bolder versions yet tho.
As you can see, it doesn't really resemble architecture itself. Is it a mistake?
