logo

Greetings!

I apologize in advance if this post is in any way inappropriate.

A professional organization to which I belong -- the American Philosophical Association -- is looking for a new logo (and associated branding items). There is an announcement on their website, and they asked members to pass it on to any "good designers" we might know. There are plenty of good designers here, and I thought at least a few of them might be interested.

The announcement and the request for the proposals can be found here.

Thanks!

Can anyone point me toward a font that is similar to the "ESELER" part of this wordmark?

Hello, please help me identify the font of the text of the Infusionsoft logo.
I think that the green text and gray text are in different fonts...
I tried many font id services, but nothing specific came up. Here is the image:

Thank you in advance!

Oops, sorry for the repeat - I posted this under the wrong thread first time.

Does anyone recognise the font used for the word TATTOO in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo logo?
I have been searching for a while but it has me stumped!

Many thanks.

Hello eyeryone!
This time my client is an industrial designer who has come up with a cross between a portaledge (in case you have no idea what that is, check this out: ) and a treehouse. A portable treehouse.

The chosen name for this miracle of workmanship is "Cambai", which is an alternate spelling of "Kambai" a tree-living tribe from Indonesia that build their dwellings at a height of vertigo-inducing 30 - 40 feet of the ground and, you probably guessed it, the sound of "come by".

Hello,

I see this font all the time in logos that all the kids are making these days.
Can anyone help me identify it? I've tried Whatthefont and Identifont to no avail.

Thanks!

LOGO MR

Hi everyone,
I'm doing an exercice in which I have to create a fusion between the letters M and R (from Mafalda Remoaldo). I've been doing some research but I found almost anything with those letters, do you have any images (Logos, typography, etc) that can serve as an example? I'll send this example, that I've made, so that it helps you selecting what you can send me

Thanks for the help

Thank you

I really like this font and want to use it in a design i am doing. Can anyone give me a very similar or exact font? No idea what it is.
It's from the Saprtan Cricket logo here: http://spartansports.com.au/media/wysiwyg/Catalogues/cricket.jpg

This is a compilation of glyphs used on signs related to the Hyperion Corporation in the game Borderlands 2.
These are slanted oddly due to perspective of the viewer in the reference photos, and because many of the signs use slanted text that changes slant across each line. Differing sizes of text are because I left all text at the resolution they appeared in the references.
The signs only use capitals, and the period is a square. Most of the font is pretty unremarkable, but hopefully the G is distinctive enough to be recognized.

The attached file is the unmodified image that these were crudely ripped from.

Hi everyone,

A friend of mines is starting a small side business making making custom volumes (holds) for climbing gyms. The idea here is that all of his products are made from triangles, so all of the typography is derived from a 30,60,90 triangle. The name of the company is Irujo.

I am trying to put together a solid logo for him to use and I would love to hear some feedback from everyone. Feel free to critique color palette, typographic form, and readability.

Also, The logo needs to work printed and as a stencil to spray paint onto the products.

Hello again Typophiles! I could use some help on the IDs of the 2 fonts in the picture below. I am a noob when it comes to matching fonts, and any help would be greatly appreciated and save me the work in Illustrator.

I thank you in advance, and would appreciate the help on this one!

Hello to all,

I know the importance of good graphic design - but don't have the means to have a graphic designer revisit mine (which I'm trying to set up).
Nevertheless, maybe something can be done about the font, at least for the header/name (the rest I think I'll keep in Tahoma or courrier). Would you give me your feel about a font if I describe what is the aim of the site and what I whish to express?
I know well it's a personal choice, but my range of font is extremely limited, so all advise, feel, any idea would be really welcome!

Please help me identify this old font used by Epic Comics in 1990-s for the artbook Book of the Damned (designer is not listed amidst the creators). Similar but changed font was used in their old Hellraiser (of 1990-s).

Hello! So here's my story: I'm a pastor. I love design and type, but I am not a designer by profession or training. I recently took a new position, and (like many or most churches) the design is abysmal or non-existant. Think word art, and newsletter with said word art created in (no, I'm not kidding) Microsoft Word. Also, no logo, no unified font choice (different fonts in bulletin, newsletter, website, letterhead, etc.) On the one hand, this is exciting for me, because there is real progress to be made. On the other hand, it's horrifying, because there is so much to do, and I don't know where to start. At some point, I would like to hire someone to consult and help us create a full identity that we can use across all these platforms.

I've narrowed my business logo down to 3 favorites. I'd like some critique. Favorite and why; colors complementary, too dark/too light; kerning too tight/loose; design element too much/dark/light; design element size; so, basically anything I need to do that would make it better, etc. Be brutal, but constructive. Thanks so much :)

Hi all !
I would be very pleased to get some advice and suggestions about the font pairing and global appearance of this combination. At the moment, it is just a start on a business card. The company is specialized in high-end microelectronics and wants to contrast radically from the other companies in their sector... I made some boards with different variations and identity elements, but I need to know what you are thinkning about those two simple lines : logo and font pairing... Thank you by advance to all of you !

This could be hand-drawn. Their site uses "English Hand DB Regular" for headings and at a glance it's a decent match but that's definitely not what the logo uses. I've tried to hunt down the graphic designer but can't get anywhere. A client wants this font for a poetry design.

Does anyone recognize this font or was it hand drawn? Thanks:)

A client wants a match for this font. I'm not sure if this is vectorized from hand-calligraphy or a script font. Any ideas? Thanks for your brainy time! :)

Just read this article http://techcrunch.com/2012/08/23/new-microsoft-corporate-logo/ talks a bit about the new microsoft ID / logo and has a nice video of it in action. I want to hear some feedback from fellow typist. thoughts or criticisms? what do you think about the lig? is it perfect?
