This is my first post on this forum, and i really really needed some advice.
My client has a logo already designed using Perpetua (for the main logo type). I need a matching serif and sans serif font to use for the stationary and subsequent collaterals.... and i didn't really want to use Perpetua (i dont like it very much, its so stuffy and old). i know an obvious choice would be Gill sans, but i don't like that font very much either (something about the question mark annoys me)
please help! i've been wracking my brains staring at my screen for hours.
thanks in advance
Hello my fellow Typophilians.
I posted earlier about what Eric Gill's 'Perpetua' springs into mind
Ive come up with the following general descriptions: classic, light, elegant and somewhat non-specific. If there are any other words that spring to mind please share.
I'm having a little trouble thinking of possible songs, instrumental versions or music in general that encapsulates these attributes. It's for a 30sec animation on After Effects I'm creating.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
I have to make a 30sec animatic based on either a) the history of a particular font or b) the applications of the font
My font is Perpetua
I would like to know in general when would you use this font or how you generally view this font
Any ideas much appreciated
