this board has been incredibly helpful to so many past requests, so I’m really looking forward to your replies!
I’m currently working for a client and I am looking for a squarish typeface with rounded edges. So far I am rather pleased with typesupply's »Torque« http://vllg.com/typesupply/torque – however it’s lacking a semibold between medium and bold – the bold face is a little to heavy for this design that we're aiming for.
I’m having a hard time finding proper alternatives to torque, because it is very specific, so I was hoping maybe one of you folks knows a similar typeface?
thank you in advance!
Hi there! I'm desperately trying to find the name of this font - it is bold - it almost looks like a bold Shango, but as you see the "o's" of the typeface are squared off in its corners. Any help you could give would be so hugely appreciated!
This is my first post, I'm a designer and for several years I am interested in typedesign, I'm not a typedesigner but I try.
Größe is my first real project, and is a project that I'm working on for some years.
Größe (Grosse) in german means "big-large". The design of the font is inspired by the northern european architecture, with its clean lines, modula, simple and squared.
Okay, so there's a good chance this is a custom typeface, but it's worth a shot.
I've looked into it, found some similar faces, but can't quite pin this one down.
I'm doing the corporative design for a tshirt brand. I want the aesthetics of the b-movies but i dont want it to look trashy or bad-designed for the people that dont are used to that style.
I had found 2 options but i want more.
I though i could use perforama (the second one) but the A had so diagonal angles and the rest of the word that is the name of the brand has a lot of O and M and square things so it was a little problematic.
What do you suggest?
